Salam/Hi beauties! It's been a long time since i last blogged! But i will try do more frequent posts.
I'm always on the hunt for the perfect foundation. I have very dry to combination skin. 90% of foundations I've tried have just failed me. They just either separate or dry out my skin, makes it flaky all sorts of things. So far my holy grail foundation has been Dior the New Nude I've been using it for over two years now and i must say it's amazing! Only foundation that works on my skin. However the coverage isn't as full as I'd like it to be and they don't have my shade so i always have to mix shades.
I have always walked passed RMK in Selfridges and never given it much thought. But then another youtuber with dry skin mentioned it that she really liked the RMK cream foundation and soon as i got the chance i headed to their counter. If you are fair and can never find your perfect shade this is the place for you! I've tried many foundations and not a single one was my perfect shade this is my perfect match.
It's a cream foundation however it's not very thick - it blends really well. It retails for �35 so i would recommend either getting a sample or letting them apply it on you.
I love this foundation it is a medium to full coverage. Personally with combination skin i think this is great for all skin types. However if i do build it up to a full coverage i do find it doesn't last all day it gathers up around my smile lines. That's the only downside it's perfect if I'm filming or doing a Photoshoot or going out for a while but not for long.
The other downside i found to this was that actually i can't wear foundation my skin tone as crazy as that sounds i look way too pale and washed out unless i wear a white or cream hijab otherwise i do look like I'm wearing a foundation that is way too light for me. Other than that i do love this foundation- However it still doesn't beat the Dior one.
