I'm not sure if i've already blogged about the Kiehl's products i've brought a while ago but here's a whole post dedicated to my first two kiehl's products.
I'm going to start with the moisturizer the Ultra facial oil-free lotion which was recommended by the specialist at the counter. This is a good moisturizer especially with my skin for the summer months however now my skin is more dry and dehydrated so even after using this my skin still feels a bit tight. i love that it's not oily and doesn't leave any residue. It's also good as a base for makeup. it does smell like medicine so just smell it if your looking to buy it as the scent doesn't bother me i know alot of people are picky when it comes to the smell of products. having said that after application the smell does fade after a few minutes.
I don't really have much to say about it, it would be perfect for normal skin but even then you might aswell purchase something less expensive as there is alot of good drugstore moisturizers at a lower price.
Next is the the Kiehl's rare earth deep pore cleansing masque. So you apply a thin layer to damn clean skin i prefer to apply with a flat foundation brush. Leave it to dry for 10 minutes. Remove with warm water either with a muslin cloth or just a wet towel. Recommended for use once or twice a week.
Promises to Eliminate surface impurities and toxins from the skin. Complexion appears fresher and refined, with visibly minimized pores.
Contains Amazonian white clay, oatmeal and Aloe vera.
I have been using this for a month now and love it! so far this has been my favourite mask that i've tried. It's perfect for reducing the size of your pores and gives your skin a deep clean without over drying it. I feel it does what it promises it retails at �25.99. Also noticed most of my blackheads have disappeared.
The pot is huge and will last you a long time so it's worth the money. It has a tingling sensation at the beginning. I have combination skin and it reduces the oilyness, after using it you notice the difference straight away and your skin feels clean.
The only downside is the smell if your unlike me and are picky then make sure you smell this before buying as it does have a strong scent.
